3 ATM FRAUDSTERS CAUGHT! – REPEAT OFFENDERS
Malmesbury, Western Cape | Friday, 28th of August
A vehicle, which had initially been flagged in Muizenberg for an ATM fraud incident, triggered Navic technology in Malmesbury.
Observation was set up as the Navic control room gained intel from the investigating officer in Muizenberg.
Soon, the vehicle was stopped a local WC government K9 unit.
The 3 occupants were found with an undisclosed amount of cash, and were detained.
While being processed at the CSC, civilians reported an ATM robbery incident along Voortrekker Road. The 3 suspects were positively identified as being involved in this incident too! The suspects have been charged for multiple cases of theft and fraud.
Fantastic teamwork was demonstrated across the province – well done to our responders and control room!
