VEHICLE STOLEN IN 2016 RECOVERED! 🚘
📍Reservoir Hills, KZN | Sunday, 24th of May
On Sunday afternoon, a Toyota Corolla that had been stolen from Port Shepstone in 2016 triggered Navic technology.

Inkosi Security and local patrollers started a search through the area. It was soon found in the Banana City settlement, where it tried to flee but was boxed in by our responders.

Sydenham SAPS members responded to the scene. Both the vehicle and the driver were detained.

Another swift success, only made possible by vigilant patrollers on the ground. Thank you, team! 😎

STOLEN MOTORCYCLE RECOVERED! 🏍️
📍La Mercy, KZN | Tuesday, 19th of May
On Tuesday afternoon, a stolen Suzuki motorcycle triggered Navic technology in La Mercy. Our system had also verified that the motorcycle was now operating with falsified number plates to avoid detection by authorities (but not us!)

Dolphin Coast Security responded in search of the vehicle and soon stopped it while awaiting backup. SAPS arrived and detained the driver for further investigation.

What is NAVIC?

The NAVIC Cloud Ecosystem provides the necessary framework for the support of Security organisations to gain and act on relevant vehicle related data in real-time so as to fight crime.

NAVIC.Cloud is the CORE system in order to affect the above. NAVIC Cloud’s predominantly crime fighting ANPR image recognition Vehicle Analytics system is currently being expanded to provide a customer determined Process Flow to act on actionable events determined by a recognised behaviour from activity of objects identified by their signatures. This include pure Deep Learning Pattern Recognition for automated behavioural categorisation of behaviour, and tie this to concern levels.
