By requesting to be; or by being added to a Group, you agree specifically and absolutely that during your association with this Group, and after your termination of your association, (for whatever reason) without limit in time you will not make any unauthorized use or disclosure of any knowledge or any information in any form that relates to and is considered by any of the Group admin; ops personnel, or other members to be sensitive or in any way confidential such as but not limited to the identity of suspect and/or suspect vehicles or incidents. This restriction includes the release of any such information by any means of communication including social media (for example but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, blogs) from a Group and/or from any such access outside a Group. Any posting of sensitive and/or confidential and/or inappropriate material may lead to immediate dismissal from a Group/s and charges and/or damages may be filed against you. By being a member of a Group, you:

1. will at all times, preserve strict confidentiality with respect to any and all information contained on the Group, and will not in any way disseminate/share or interfere with;
2. shall not seek to make any unauthorized personal profit or gain as a result of any knowledge gained from information posted on a Group;
3. acknowledge that you may be liable to prosecution for any breaches of this clause, including the recovery of any loss suffered by Group admin or any other party, resulting from such breaches;
4. in the event your cell phone is lost/stolen to immediately notify ADMIN so that your number can be removed from a Group/s for obvious purposes.

Rules of whatsapp ANPR / other ALERT Groups

1. ⁠ANPR Alerts are sent in a FULL format with snapshot and SAPS related information in keeping with SAPS requirements.
2. ONLY SAPS members and a limited number of approved and trusted NW ops, SSP ops, Metro, LE are on ANPR Groups.
3. ⁠No replies or responses required ONLY unless if something of INTEL value to add to that specific incident.
4. No thumbs up or other emoticons necessary.
5. ⁠No replies or thanks.
6. ⁠No information may be forwarded out of a Group to social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), nor shown about at dinner parties.
7. ⁠This is NOT a Group for people to find out what is happening. It is a Group for people who will actively assist if they are available to do so.
8. All messages must please be deleted from the chat OFF your cell phone weekly.
