In the late hours of Friday night, 26 sheep were stolen in the Steenbokvlakte area.
Using the Navic Cloud system, two vehicles suspected of involvement in the theft were identified, and the information was passed along to SAPS. This enabled SAPS to track down the vehicles and identify the suspects.

VEHICLE USED IN ROBBERY IMPOUNDED 📍Ridgeway, Gauteng | 2022/01/28
This alert was triggered by a strategically positioned Navic Cloud ANPR camera on the 28th of January 2022, in connection with a vehicle sought in a Hillbrow robbery case. The alert was distributed to all relevant members, who sent out their response officers to search for the vehicle. A vehicle was located in the area.
When backup arrived, the vehicle was stopped and the suspects were apprehended. The vehicle was impounded by SAPS, and the suspect was taken to a police station for questioning.
BUSINESS ROBBERS ARRESTED 📍Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal | 2022/01/12
Using the information obtained from Navic.Cloud, it was possible to successfully arrest business and armed robbery suspects in Umlazi, Mega City area. These suspects have been involved in a number of business and armed robbery cases in the Durban area. The arrest resulted in the recovery of an unlicensed firearm with unlicensed ammunition.

DRUG DEALERS ARRESTED 📍Pearston, Eastern Cape | 2022/01/27
On the 27th of January 2022, a vehicle was stopped by SAPS members, just outside of Pearson, on suspicion of drug dealing. As the vehicle passed between Graaf Reinett and Pearston, Navic Cloud cameras were triggered making the stop possible.
Once SAPS members had stopped the vehicle, it was searched. The search resulted in the seizure of two TIK sachets and 503 Mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R31,180. 00
The three suspects were arrested for dealing drugs and their vehicle was impounded.
As a result of a successful operation between Belrex Innovations, Navic Cloud, and SAPS; a vehicle associated with copper cable thefts was intercepted and stopped. The operation led to the arrest of 13 suspects; the seizure of two vehicles used in the thefts; and the recovery of 189 pieces of stolen copper cable weighing 960.5kg. It is estimated that the copper cable seized was worth R130,687.00

DRUG DEALERS ARRESTED 📍Gqeberta, Eastern Cape | 2022/01/27
On the 26th of January, 2022, information was received regarding a known drug dealer travelling to Gqeberha to collect drugs intended for Somerset-East. The following day the drug dealers vehicle triggered NAVIC™ Cameras on the way from Gqeberha towards Cookhouse. Off-duty members of the Crime Prevention Unit from Cookhouse received the information and mobilised.
Shortly after the unit mobilised the vehicle was spotted on the N10 and a high-speed chase ensued. The driver refused to stop and attempted to evade the unit. As a result of the tactical driving skills of the unit; the vehicle was boxed-in and forced to stop.
A search of the vehicle turned up 20 sachets of Tik, with a combined weight of 100 grams and a street value estimated at R 30,000.00 Along with the Tik, R3,040. 00 in cash was also seized.
The three suspects were arrested for dealing Tik and the vehicle was impounded.
