Responding to the alert, members of Help24 SSp and JMPD swiftly intervened and successfully intercepted the vehicle. Following a thorough investigation, it was determined that all five occupants of the vehicle were directly involved in the act of vehicle theft. They were subsequently apprehended and handed over to the South African Police Service (SAPS).
BUSINESS ROBBERS ARRESTED 📍Klipriver, Gauteng | 2023/05/29
On May 29, 2023, a vehicle connected to three suspects involved in a safe burglary at a business in Queens Town triggered Navic.Cloud cameras in the Klipriver area. The alert was immediately shared with all relevant groups to initiate appropriate action.
Responding swiftly, members from Sendinbeng RR and security successfully intercepted the vehicle on the R59. During the operation, five suspects were apprehended and taken into custody for further investigation.
On May 28, 2023, a stolen vehicle from the Deneysville area, reported the previous night, triggered Navic.Cloud cameras. The alert was promptly shared with all relevant groups for immediate action.
Response members successfully located and recovered the vehicle in Tembisa. During the operation, three suspects were apprehended and taken into custody.
BUSINESS ROBBERS ARRESTED 📍Darling, Western Cape | 2023/05/23
On May 23, 2023, a vehicle associated with a recent robbery at the Family Mini Mart in Darling triggered Navic.Cloud cameras in the vicinity. The alert was promptly shared with all relevant groups for immediate action.
Members received valuable information indicating that the vehicle and four individuals matching the description of the robbery suspects were sighted outside a shop in Darling. Responding swiftly, the suspects were approached and subjected to a thorough search.
During the search, an imitation 9mm firearm was seized, and all four suspects were apprehended and taken into custody for further investigation.
STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED 📍Lentegeur, Western Cape | 2023/05/24
On May 24, 2023, Navic.Cloud cameras triggered on a vehicle that was believed to have been stolen from Pollsmoor Prison. The alert was immediately shared with all relevant groups for necessary action.
In response, SAPS K9 Officers swiftly located the vehicle in Lentegeur. The vehicle was successfully recovered, and two suspects were apprehended during the operation.

On May 24, 2023, a stolen vehicle from Kuils River triggered Navic.Cloud cameras in Kalkfontein. The alert was released to all pertinent groups for immediate action.
Response members successfully located the vehicle, leading to the arrest of three suspects. Furthermore, the stolen vehicle was recovered during the operation.
TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF CAR-BREAKING IMPLEMENTS 2023/05/24
On May 24, 2023, a collaborative operation involving the Hawks' Tactical Operations Management Section (TOMS), Gauteng SAPS Highway Patrol, Tracker Connect, GTP Saturation Unit, GTP Chopper, FRS Falcon Risk Solutions, ICB-Insurance Crime Bureau, MDOC CI CIT Team, and Badboyz Security led to the successful arrest of two suspects.
The Navic.Cloud system played a crucial role in identifying and monitoring the suspect vehicle, allowing the involved members to take appropriate action. With the coordinated efforts, the suspects were located and apprehended. Notably, one of the suspects had an outstanding warrant of arrest for charges related to attempted murder of police, possession of an unlicensed firearm, armed robbery, and hijacking in the Akasia policing area back in 2021.
Both suspects have been taken into custody, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED 📍Edenvale, Gauteng | Wednesday, 17/05/2023 On Wednesday afternoon, a Honda that had been reported stolen triggered ANPR cameras at a shopping centre.
Less than 15 minutes later, Nightguard Security responded to the scene. It was confirmed that the vehicle belonged to the occupant’s employer who had reported it stolen. The occupant was detained for possession of a stolen vehicle.
